Banyak bezanya, terlalu banyak. Dari segi power comsumption, design, clock rate dan pelbagai lagi. Kalau nak overclock, DDR3 tak beberapa "cun" sangat sebab tidak boleh pergi jauh. Kalau biasa-biasa penggunaan DDR3 sangat bagus kerana kurang guna kuasa elektrik.

Basically there's no difference between DDR3 and DDR2
The main problem lies on the FSB, eg on Core 2 Duo, Quad, Extreme
FSB limits the processor from fully utilising the memory bandwidth
Core 2 with FSB 1333 is only capable operating at maximum 10.6GB/s, while dual channel DDR2-800 is at 12.8GB/s
In simple term, the processor lags/bottleneck the system
That is why Intel come up with Core i5 and i7
FSB is replaced with QPI and DMI, memory and proc is directly connected without any busses
Typical Core 2 will attain memory bandwidth around 5~6GB/s in SiSoft Sandra
Compared to Core i7 with 14GB/s
In conclusion, the difference doesnt lies on the type of RAM
Only a Core i5/i7, or an AMD system able to fully unleash DDR3 potential
